Christmas Tree Adventures

Yesterday we went to cut our Christmas tree down from the tree farm. It was FREEZING cold out but we had a great time. Alaina and Brayden got to help pick out our tree and enjoyed running around all the other ones.

Our Exciting Weekend

I think this is the first time I'm glad to see a Monday. Thanksgiving weekend left a lot to be desired. Although the food and company were excellent we had a little too much excitement. Alaina had nasty stomach virus that landed her in the hospital for two days and just when we thought things were back to normal and calm on Sunday we had to have a visit from the local fire department for an unidentified source of smoke in our great room. Everything was fine and Alaina has recovered from her illness. Thank Goodness Its MONDAY!

By Saturday Alaina discovered she could make the bed move up and down. It made her day.

The trucks lined the street as we had 3 different towns respond to the call. It must have been a quiet day. At least we know they'll be here fast in a real emergency.
