Cousin Ellie and Maureen came out to visit us for the afternoon. The kids had fun playing while Maureen and I got some adult conversation!

Every night when I tell Brayden its time for bed he goes into the bedroom and climbs into Alaina's bed and lays down.

Girls weekend in San Francisco, CA!

My sister, Andrea, and I took a much needed trip to San Francisco to visit some friends of ours from high school. Kelly and Sima were gracious enough to show us around San Francisco and we had a great time. While we were there we stopped at the Golden Gate Bridge, Muir Woods and Alcatraz. We also managed to enjoy the night life and the pool. It was a fun packed weekend.

The cells

This is one of the cells that were broken out of using a spoon to carve away the concrete. The 3 inmates created heads out of shop materials, left them under a blanket and escaped under darkness. They left the island on a raft made from raincoats and rope. They were never found...
