Fun in the Snow

It finally snowed REAL snow here. YAY! We got all geared up and in our snow suits and headed out into the winter wonderland. Alaina got her first experience playing in the snow. Between the snow and the snowsuit walking was a little difficult without help but overall I think she had fun. Next year its sledding!

The Sound of Silence...

Ahhh.. the sound of silence. Brayden has recently decided that sleeping through the night really IS a good idea. He's also finally taken to sleeping on his own in his cradle. (Much to Mommy's relief!) We've had 3 restful nights of him sleeping through. I'm loving it. I hope this becomes a regular thing. I also hope that our vacation to Florida doesn't disrupt his new habit!

Wow! Brayden is growing so fast! It amazes me that he is almost 3 mos old aready! Where does the time go? He's become quite the little piglet and loves his meal time. He's finally starting to get the hang of night vs. day and is beginning to sleep for 5 hrs at a time at night. YAY!! Alaina is such a great big sister. We haven't really encountered any jealousy issues so far. The biggest thing we've had a problem with is her stealing his "binki". She comes running and gets very concerned if he is crying and she tries to put his pacifier in his mouth (or his nose, eye, ear, ect...)

It was a busy weekend! Andrea was down from NY with her boyfriend Rich. Friday we braved the cold and headed to D.C. for a little tourist action. First stop was the Officer's Memorial and then we headed to the Internation Spy Museum. Alaina walked through the ENTIRE museum and then promptly passed out in her stroller. Brayden was an angel the entire day. Saturday was Alaina's best friend's (Genna) 1st birthday and we all went to celebrate.
