I found this AWESOME wooden Pinocchio set for Brayden at a consignment sale this weekend. I ended up going back and purchasing it. Its SOLID wood and hand carved and painted. Brayden seems to love it already.

Alaina loves her new dress.

Today was bittersweet. Topaz has found a new home out near the Shenendoah River in Front Royal. She is a companion buddy to an older gelding named Riley and also has two pygmy goats to keep them company. Topaz hit it off with the other horse right away and they were fast friends. We are so glad that Topaz was able to find such a wonderful retirement home but we'll all miss her greatly.

Construction update: Feb. 2008

Thanks to my Dad we've made progress on our construction project. We've still got a lot to accomplish but things are starting to take shape. The master bedroom, closet and master bathroom are framed in and the electric, cable and telephone has been wired. We also had central air and heating installed earlier this month and are just waiting to have the electricity connected.
